After a challenging time following our re-opening, we have decided to continue to operate al fresco dining throughout the summer. There are many reasons for this, but primarily we believe this is the safest and most appropriate way to serve our customers at this time. Many of you have commented on the improved facilities; we have invested heavily in gazebos, parasols and now have 20+ heaters throughout the garden and terraces.
We hope that you understand and very much hope you enjoy your visit. Look forward to seeing you soon. Due to unprecedented demand we can only take phone bookings at limited times. If you would like to book a table please call us between the hours of 10am and 12pm and 3pm and 5pm. Or alternatively email us on email@theorangetreethornham.co.uk with your preferred date, time number of diners and mobile phone number.

We are thrilled that the awards just keep on coming for our food. Our kitchen team are constantly striving to devise innovative new dishes, as well as adding new twists to age old pub classics. In particular we are well known for our local seafood dishes - a passion which won us the award for 'Great British Seafood Pub Chef of the Year' for the Wild Seabass and Norfolk Razor Clams dish.

Thornham offers an excellent base for visitors to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coastline and if you enjoy the outdoor life there is plenty to do in Thornham itself. Stroll out to the harbour amid the creeks of Brancaster bay where there are still working fishing boats. This peaceful harbour was once a smuggler's haven.
