The restaurant dining room is very nice and has a balcony overlooking the river which would obviously be amazing on pleasant days. The food is okay but hasn't excited me about the next time I go, although I must add that my kids lover it there. Sometimes the staff can be a bit indifferent towards looking after you. On both of my last two visits I didn't get my bread and butter with my meal and getting someone's attention about it and then that person taking some can do ownership of my need was harder than it probably ought to be.

Good food and lovely evening views looking back across the harbour (although the xmas lights kind of blocked the view from inside but it was still lovely). Place was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly.

Excellent food and beer. Able to get the table at end of the bar overlooking the harbour. Very good service on a walk in. Only downside is that we tried to book restaurant for same time but told fully booked, was empty when we arrived and left.

This is a difficult review. The place itself was beautifully looked after, inside and out. Clean, bright, nice seating inside and outside on the balcony giving great views across the harbour.The food looked amazing if you like seafood (I was drinking coffee).However, myself and a friend did not get that warm welcoming feeling from some staff.....it was just a little off? I can't put my finger on it, but it was enough for us not to want to go back. Maybe they were having an off day?
