Services
Early Years Education
Our structured curriculum follows OFSTED guidelines, covering literacy, numeracy, and personal development. Children engage in hands-on activities like cooking experiments and plant growing to explore concepts practically. Teachers create individual learning plans that adapt to each child's progress, ensuring they develop foundational skills at their own pace while building confidence for future education stages.
Extracurricular Activities
We offer specialist programs including tennis, drama, language classes, and science clubs during morning and afternoon sessions. These activities enhance motor skills, creativity, and social interaction while introducing new concepts in engaging formats. Regular library trips and themed learning experiences extend educational opportunities beyond the classroom environment through practical exploration.
Individual Learning Plans
Each child receives tailored development strategies based on continuous assessment across seven learning areas. Our key worker system ensures consistent adult support for emotional security while tracking progress in communication, physical development, and social skills. This approach enables targeted activity planning that matches individual learning styles and developmental milestones effectively.
OFSTED-Rated Care
Maintaining our 'Outstanding' OFSTED rating requires rigorous safeguarding measures and staff training. All team members hold paediatric first aid qualifications and complete regular safeguarding updates. Our secure premises and structured routines prioritise child safety while promoting wellbeing through balanced nutrition, hygiene practices, and emotional support systems that address each child's specific needs.
Transition Preparation
We focus on developing independence through self-care activities like snack preparation and dressing practice. Jolly Phonics instruction builds early literacy skills while number recognition and measurement activities establish mathematical foundations. Our transition program includes parent guidance sessions and collaborative planning with receiving schools to ensure smooth progression to reception class environments.

20 stars. Amazing. Miss Dorothy is so dialed into both community and schooling. Great to have as the leader during the pandemic. They were flexible with one of our kids going week to week as we waited for schools to open, also with payment as a result. Amazing people.

Our daughter Hana has bloomed at Kensington House Nursery School. She is growing into a strong independent, free- thinking child. We put much of this down to the care and attention she has received at the Nursery especially from her Key Teacher Miss Jayziel.
