With over 25 years' experience in floristry, Rachel established The Rose Shed in 2012. Her passion for seasonal flowers began at 13 working in a Somerset florist. She personally oversees all designs, bringing creativity and expertise to every project while maintaining close client relationships.
Questions
Do you work outside the South West region?
We primarily serve Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and the Cotswolds. Due to our minimum spend requirements, we don't typically work outside these areas.
Can you accommodate specific flower preferences?
We specialise in seasonal flowers but can suggest beautiful alternatives if specific varieties aren't in season. We'll guide you through suitable options during the planning process.
What's included in your wedding flower packages?
Our packages cover everything from bridal party flowers to venue installations. This includes bouquets, buttonholes, table arrangements, staircase decorations and ceremony florals, all tailored to your specific requirements.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend contacting us 9-18 months before your wedding date. We don't book weddings more than 18 months in advance to ensure optimal flower selection and service quality.
Do you work with event planners?
Yes, we collaborate closely with event planners and other suppliers to ensure seamless integration of floral designs with your overall event vision and aesthetic.
What sustainability practices do you follow?
We're proud to be floral foam-free and prioritise British-grown flowers. We use reusable mechanics where possible and focus on sustainable practices throughout our studio operations.

Rachel recently delivered 2 sets of Wrap bouquets, one to our home and one to my mother, both were absolutely incredible! Theyve lasted 2 weeks and only just starting to show their age! Cant believe the quality (and quantity) The Rose Shed offers. Weve had countless incredible bouquets and plants from Rachel and its exactly that, and her helpful personal touch, thats asked her to do our wedding. Would 11/10 recommend The Rose Shed.

Rachel did all of the fabulous flowers for our wedding last summer and we couldn't have been happier! They were so so beautiful from the amazing flower arch to the flower crowns for me and the bridesmaids and on top of all that Rachel was a dream to work with, always calm and made everything very easy! Highly recommend The Rose Shed! Ive ordered a range of plants and bouquets and always been blown away. Ive stopped choosing the flowers I want now and just select the seasonal wrap because the arrangements are always stunning and better than I can ever choose! I treated myself to a bunch in November for a new job and they lasted until Christmas! I wouldnt buy flowers from anywhere else in Bristol.

We always buy flowers and plants from Rachel at Rose Shed for our events, office birthdays, to brighten up our office and she made us the most amazing wreath too this year, thats still looking amazing now. Always friendly and helpful too.

Rachel created the most stunning bouquets for my wedding day on 1st September, as well as gorgeous cake flowers, and flower crowns & wands for our flower girls! Working with Rachel was such a lovely process; she is so friendly and really listened to what I was after. As I don't know a lot about flowers, I gave her a very vague brief and trusted her instincts as I have always been blown away by her work. She really did not disappoint and I am so grateful to her for our beautiful flowers!
