We were founded in 1919 by auctioneer and estate agent Sidney Clarke and surveyor Frank Gammon. Wellers had been formerly known as Weller Eggar after a merger of two highly respected agricultural practices: Weller & Co of Guildford and Eggar & Co of Farnham. Wellers became the principal firm of auctioneers, valuers and land agents in Surrey, West Sussex and North East Hampshire and earned a coveted reputation for letting, marketing and the acquisition of estates, farms and country properties.
