RyanBuildsWheels has been in business since 2014 but, in truth, we've been building wheels for way longer. What started as a passion grew into a profession. It all began in a spare room with a spoke key, then was nurtured in some of the best bike shops in Bristol and finally took on a life of its own.
We're now one of the UK's most-respected custom bicycle wheel builders, based out of our fully equipped workshop in St Werburghs, Bristol. Since day one, we've committed to using the very best tools available. These tools guarantee that your wheels will be accurate to a hair's width and perfectly tensioned. Morizumi-San is a hero in the world of spokes, a one-of-a-kind craftsman. Morizumi learned his art through years of craft at Asahi Spoke in Japan and used this expert knowledge to create the Morizumi SCT spoke cutting machine.

Cyclescheme is an employee benefit that saves you 25-39% on a bike and accessories. You pay nothing upfront and the payments are taken tax efficiently from your salary by your employer.
Shipping & Collection

Whilst we love visitors (though maybe a bit less so now during the CV19 era!) we can collect or deliver wheels World Wide. We can arrange collection of your existing wheelset and we can deliver repaired or new wheelsets, by ParcelForce 48hr. Every wheelset is shipped in a good quality, recyclable cardboard box with timescales for shipping confirmed at the point of payment.
Guarantee and warranty

Every wheel leaves the workshop with a lifetime guarantee for workmanship and reliability. All wheels will be true to 0.1mm lateral and 0.25mm radial play (usually a lot less) and with perfectly balanced spoke tension within the manufacturer's specifications and tolerances. Wherever possible hubs are further weatherproofed in house, as is spoke / nipple interface for mile upon mile of happy riding.
