What We Do

Bomber Bikeworks is a dedicated bike workshop specialising in the building, service and repair of high end race bikes. I happily work on road and mountain bikes, from watt saving aero time trial machines to trail shredding enduro race bikes. I have the added luxury of a machine workshop too, so can take on very specialised jobs - most turning and milling jobs can be catered for, repairing snapped bolts/stripped threads is a mere formality!

Bomber Bikeworks is run by self confessed bike obsessive, Greg "Bomber" Lancaster (me). I have been riding bikes competitively for over 2 decades having competed in cross country, downhill, cyclo cross, time trials and road racing. I graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Exeter University in 2002.
Servicing

You can expect nothing but the best service, I will do all that is needed to the highest standard, and will only do what is needed. It is highly advisable to have a Standard Service every 6-12 months or every 2000 - 2500km. The Standard Service starts from 55* exclusive of parts and I will discuss your specific requirements with you.
Repair
Report
Carbon fibre is a wonderful material but it is very easily damaged in a crash. Techniques have developed over recent years allowing carbon frames to be repaired successfully and restored to their former glory. I outsource all carbon repairs to the guys at Target Composites. I cannot recommend the quality of their work enough.
Custom Builds
Report
Anyone can go to the bike shop and get an off-the-peg bike. It'll be one identical to many hundreds of others knocked out of a factory somewhere. How about I build you a one-off absolutely custom bike to meet your needs? It'll be meticulously assembled using the correct greases and anti-seize compounds, all bolts will be torqued up to their factory specs.
