IWM Duxford could be described as the "Mecca" of vintage aviation. Built in 1918 as a training base for the newly formed Royal Air Force (RAF) Duxford has had a long and exciting history as a training station between the wars and as a fighter station for both the RAF and the American Air Force in World War Two.

A nostalgic sightseeing flight in the elegant Dragon Rapide, one of Britain's best loved pre-war aircraft. Ours are two of the very few Dragon Rapides left flying and are completely restored to comply with modern regulations - the last word in civilised sightseeing! Each of the eight seats on board has a window so is perfect for viewing the landscape below.
