Reflexology is a therapy based on the principle that the feet and hands contain reflexes which correspond to every organ, gland and part of the body. Specific thumb and finger movements are used to apply pressure over these reflex areas.
I am a professionally qualified reflexologist - I trained with the International Institute of Reflexology (IIR) who teach the original Ingham Method of reflexology (Eunice Ingham was the founder of modern reflexology as we know it today).I have experience of treating clients with developmental difficulties, learning difficulties, clients living with life-limiting illness and those living with recurrent seizures.

Whilst it is thought that the art of reflexology dates back to ancient Egypt, India and China, it was not until 1913 that a gentleman named Dr William Fitzgerald introduced the therapy to the West as Zone Therapy. He noticed that reflex areas on the feet and hands could be linked to organs and other areas of the body within the same zones.
