Over all the treatment received at Star dental is good. But I do object to being grilled about our diet, when we visit....and asked to change it. A doctor would take a less judgemental attitude, and I think Star Dental should.

I wanted to write this review in case it helps others who, like me, are nervous about visiting the dentist. I had bad experiences as a child, something which affected my trust in dental practices for many years. A couple of weeks ago I visited STAR DENTAL CARE in Thirsk and was told I needed a small cavity filling (I have been coming here for a few years now). To be honest I've been quite lucky with regard to work needing to be done so I thought 'well, that's not so bad'. Today I went for the treatment. I have to say that the whole process was handled so well, from arriving to leaving all the staff

I have nothing but praise for everyone at Star Dental, as a certified wimp when it comes to dental treatment I can honestly say that everyone at the practice puts you at your ease. The ladies on reception are all lovely and very efficient, - on the odd occasion I've had an emergency they did their utmost to get me a quick appointment. Over the years , apart from routine check-ups and fillings I have had root canal work, an extraction and teeth whitening and all have been expertly dealt with. Louise is a brilliant dentist I would recommend to anyone , explaining the treatment and even making a nervous
