We stayed in Benula lodge for five days over Christmas 2021 and what a superb lodge in a superb location. We thought it was better than the website description.

Beautiful surroundings within close proximity of Inverness and surrounding countryside. Plenty to do or just stay put in chill out. The accommodation is excellent and we have been coming here since 2014, once and sometimes twice a year. Fantastic staff both in admin and on site who cannot do enough to make sure your stay is top notch.

Just back from an amazing stay at Ness Castle. The cottage was perfect in every way, we stayed in Benula! The location is excellent for exploring Inverness and surrounding areas! The setting is just beautiful.… We loved it so much we have already booked to return at Easter!! Will miss waking up to the views and sound of the river! Thank you x

I’m not one for recommendations but Ness Castle lodges is one of the best places in the UK we have stayed. We are just back from a week stay in Weir Cottage. Beautiful lodge with lovely wee touches like a full book case with something for all ages, fresh milk in the fridge on arrival & a fully stocked cleaning cupboard with detergent for the washer/ dryer & dish washer. Great base to explore the Highlands. Loved it.

Excellent lodges with views to, and only a very short walk to the river Ness. In a secure location with extensive lawn and gardens. Suitable for families but some care required due to proximity of river
