Along with Peter and Julie, they have two sons, Matthew and Oliver, who are involved in the business. Peter holds the Diploma in funeral directing, along with being a qualified 'N.A.F.D Vocational Qualification Assessor' and previously worked as manager at Eric Eyre Funeral Services for over 13 years.

When someone has died this can be a very sad and distressing time and there are several matters you will have to attend to. Depending on the circumstances surrounding the death, this will determine the steps to follow. We can advise and guide you through the process, any time of day or night. If this is the first time you have had to deal with a bereavement, it will be a shock.

Peter Haigh and Sons are able to provide traditional veneered coffins, eco-friendly options such as wicker, bamboo and cardboard, solid timber coffins and caskets, and metal caskets.
Coffin Selection

For our cremation services there is a choice of the above two coffins which are made with great care by our coffin supplier. They are also FSC certified which means the wood used comes from trees grown in responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources.
