When did you join Barretts? We were living in the flat above the store when my Mum and Dad launched Barretts of Woodbridge in 1969, so in a way I 'joined' Barretts then. It was in 1982 when I was 16 that I probably started to become useful to them, as opposed to using the shop as my personal playground with my sister Jane!

This year marks the 50th birthday of our wonder independent home furnishings store Barretts of Woodbridge. Jack and Ann Barrett (Jill Barrett's Mum and Dad) first opened the doors to this iconic store in 1969, and it's gone from strength to strength since then. Jill Barrett outlined some of the exciting celebration plans.
