Springing from a love of outdoor parties, The Arabian Tent Company was founded in 2004 by Katherine Hudson. The magic of festivals and marquee parties captured Katherine's imagination, soon she was hooked and decided she had to try and put on her own event.

Katherine is the founder of Arabian Tents and her day is a whirlwind of meeting clients, writing emails (lots of them!), brainstorming dcor ideas and snatching moments to feel very lucky she loves what she does.
When throwing a party it's always colourful, inviting, warm and relaxing - she loves the Purple Palace interior as it apparently looks good against everyone and she makes sure there is always a 'surprise' for guests, whether it be a secret room to discover, an alternative performance or after-dinner liqueur treats.

The world of weddings and events are major culprits in landfill and CO2 and in a normal year are an estimated 2.5 million weddings with the average wedding producing nearly 200kgs of rubbish and 63 tons of CO2.

They connect us with our friends, create shared memories and are an enormous amount of fun.all the things we were deprived of in 2020 and the things that we realise we missed the most. This makes us all the more determined to have a proper celebration as soon as we're allowed to gather again with nearest and dearest and celebrate our connection to each other in 2021.
