Mental Health First Aid – 2 days
Report
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. In the same way as learning physical first aid, MHFA teaches people how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support.

We found our basic first aid training experience very good. The trainer moved at a sensible pace and ensured we all understood what we had learned before going on to the next topic. He demonstrated things such as the recovery position and bandaging on one of our colleagues so we could see how it should be done. I would recommend this first aid training to anyone thinking about contacting Emergency Response Training.

I have had 8 people attend first aid at work courses ran by ER Training since May 2021, they have all given positive feedback about both the venues, instructors knowledge and the organisation of they training. Good company, very willing to help. We will be using them again in the future.

Very professional course. ERT were able to place me on to a course with very short notice, this was greatly appreciated. The training delivered was up to date and informative. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable with his background in being a paramedic. I could not recommend this training enough.

ER Training provide all of our First Aid Society Training at Sheffield Students' Union. Their trainers are fantastic and consistently get excellent feedback from the participants. The support team are very helpful too. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any organisation that wishes to train their staff in First Aid
