Anti-wrinkle injections use a small amount of a liquefied protein called Botulinum Toxin A (Botox/Azzalure) to relax the facial muscles and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Administered in small quantities, to selected muscles, it can also prevent new lines from forming. The results are usually visible within a couple of days and typically last around three to five months.
