Poole Foot Clinic
Patients need to reschedule their appointment if they are feeling unwell with the following symptoms, runny nose, sore throat, headaches, fever, cough and loss of smell / taste. Masks are still required when entering Poole Foot Clinic, until further notice from The Royal College of Podiatry. I have a duty of care to all my patients, so if you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

To maintain registration I have to prove Continuing Professional Development, by attending Podiatry Conferences and study days on various specialities relating to Podiatry. To comply with NICE guidelines and infection control measures. I have been caring for people since the age of 18, originally as an SRN and then as a Podiatrist.

About Me
Report
I changed professions at the age of 29 because of lower back problems. I graduated at the Wessex School of Podiatry in 1992 with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine. I spent 22 years working part time for the NHS gaining a wealth of Podiatrist skills, including the management of diabetic foot ulcers. At the age of 18, I trained for 3 years to become a State Registered Nurse (SRN but now known as RGN) at Poole Hospital.
Treatments
Report
A foot ulcer is an open sore on the foot some are deep some are not. A deep foot ulcer may be a cavity that extends through the full thickness of the skin. It may involve tendons, bones and other deep structures. People with diabetes or people with poor circulation are more likely to develop foot ulcers.
