We have experienced and qualified staff team, they work closely with parents to ensure each child's transition into the setting is as worry-free as possible for both the child and family.This close involvement with parents is a factor which is continued throughout the child's time with us.

Umbrella House Day Nursery & Preschool was established in 2016. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and caring environment in which children feel valued and are able to make progress. The ultimate purpose of Umbrella House as an inclusive provision is to enable young children in our care to have good access to the early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum and in so doing enable all children to flourish.

Umbrella House Day Nursery - Catford

Umbrella House Day Nursery provides inclusive education and care for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. We are open from 7.30am -6.00pm Mondays- Fridays. Our setting is divided into two large rooms and various exciting spaces. The baby room is generally aimed at younger children, whilst the 'Preschool room is more of a pre-school environment.

Our baby room offers a safe, caring environment, with bright soft toys and equipment. Our emphasis is building strong positive relationships with children and parents alike. We provide activities that match the interests of young children, making it attractive, exciting for them. All our resources are carefully selected to stimulate exploration and capture children's imagination.

At the Umbrella House, we believe that play is of central importance in helping children learn. Play allows them to make sense of the world encouraging them to explore and investigate in a unique and non-threatening way. We believe that through play children can learn at their own level and pace, they can also explore and experiment without fear or failure.
