Prospect Private Nursing Home was established by the McMullan family in 1992 and is located on the outskirts of Ballymena town centre in County Antrim. The nursing home is a beautiful two-storey period style building situated on an elevated site and surrounded by mature landscaped gardens. The interior is designed and decorated to create the ambiance of a large family house, as opposed to the clinical feel of a nursing environment.
We provide a high standard of nursing care in a Christian environment. Residents are treated with respect and dignity as we aim to ensure that their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are met and maintained at all times. We provide nursing care for 50 residents in both single and shared rooms, the majority of which offer en-suite facilities.

Tom McMullan acquired the property and its surrounding grounds in the late 1970's to be his family home. The character of the period style residence and the beautiful setting in mature landscaped gardens created an excellent living environment that both he and his family enjoyed as their home for many years.

Prospect Private Nursing Home has extensive facilities and services for residents and their family members and friends. Residents' physical and emotional needs are catered for through quality accommodation and professional nursing care, complimented by a daily programme of activities planned by our Activity Therapist.

We have an excellent management team at Prospect Nursing Home, who are supported by professional registered nurses, care assistants, reception/administration, catering, domestic and laundry staff. Over 70 contracted members of staff work together via a rota system to provide 24 hour care and continuity of care.
