Rylands Nursing Home

Rylands Nursing Home is a family owned and family focused purpose built nursing home set in three acres of spacious ground overlooking a pleasant rural setting. The home is situated within close proximity to the local shops, health centres, and library.

The home comprises of tastefully decorated bedrooms each equipped with television points as well as a twenty four hour nurse call system, which enables residents to call staff either during the day or night.The home provides single bedrooms, majority with en suite facilities.

At Rylands our aim is to create a "home from home" environment for our residents providing protection, support, comfort and care so that they can rest and relax, assured that their needs are being catered for by qualified nursing staff and highly experienced care and support staff. The home provides, under the direction and guidance of its Nurse Manager, the highest standards of nursing, residential and social care.

The majority of our permanent long-term care home residents are placed by the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trusts. The individual's healthcare and personal needs are usually assessed in detail by care managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals. This is a detailed process, and their needs will be assessed carefully to establish whether there is a need for high dependency nursing care or for residential care and support.
