We offer a full range of dental treatments for all the family including cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening and dental implants. As you'd expect we have a clear pandemic plan and will be following additional protocols to ensure our reopening is safe and effective for both staff and patients.
After 12 weeks of closure, we're sure you can appreciate that we have a substantial number of patients who need urgent care and whilst we'd love to see everyone as soon as we can, we will of course prioritise those patients experiencing acute dental pain and have been triaged by the practice during lockdown.

Somerhill Dental Practice was established in 1998 by Dr Keith Grey and used to be located at the Charter Medical Centre, Hove. Over the years we continued to expand and in 2012 we moved to brand new premises at 26 Farm Road, Hove. The practice is now owned by Dr Keith Grey, Dr Adam Tabor and Dr Emma Hutchinson.

Oral Hygiene is part of our ethos of preventative care. We have 3 hygienists, Clair, Erika and Susan who will take great care in maintaining your teeth and gums. Good oral hygiene helps prevent gum disease, tooth decay, tooth discolouring and halitosis. Clair, Erika and Susan will carefully clean around the gums and teeth removing any build up of dental plaque and calculus (calcified plaque).

Dental implants
Report
A dental implant is an artificial replacement for a tooth root, usually made from titanium. They can then act as a foundation for crowns, dentures or bridgework. The main aim during the placement of any implant is to achieve immediate close contact with the surrounding bone. Over time, further growth of bone onto the implant surface enhance the stability of the implant.
