Daniel Darby Jewellery
Engagement and wedding rings made from recycled, Fairtrade and Fairmined metals, and ethically sourced gemstones. Daniel created my beautiful wedding band, he listened to what I wanted and made sure that the design worked with my engagement ring. I had a very specific design in mind and Dan took me through each step with patience and explained different stone cuts affecting clarity and brilliance.

The ring is amazing. The mix of fair trade materials, incredible workmanship and a personal touch in correspondence is truly unmatched. I can not recommend Dan strongly enough, he managed to integrate personal aspects of our family into a really meaningful bespoke ring. When you work with Daniel, not only do you get a bespoke design, but you also get ethically sourced materials and a sense of passion that can't be matched.

A bespoke solution when the gold wedding ring you really want will rub against your platinum engagement ring. The brief was for modern and dainty engagement ring that was understated but still stood out from the crowd.
Ethics and Materials
Report
Passionate about the beautiful materials he uses, and conscious of the human and environmental cost that can result from mining them. Daniel is committed to moving towards a way of working that is as responsible as possible. In addition to only using packaging and stationary made from 100% recycled materials the following sets out what we do.
Craftsmanship
Report
Surrounded by traditional tools and beautiful materials, the workshop is where my designs come to life. I start each project by sketching ideas but often quickly move on to making 3D models and trialing techniques, working with my hands helps to determine scale and proportion. With the exception of a few very specialised techniques that are outsourced to skilled craftspeople in Hatton Garden, each stage of the process takes place on my bench.
