Trusted Childcare & Early Education in Ealing
Established in 1983 and family-owned since 2010, Children's Corner Day Nursery has built a reputation for delivering nurturing, high-quality childcare rooted in family values. Our team, led by Mrs Kila Patel (a qualified Nursery Nurse and former Child Care Social Work Service Manager), prioritises individualised care through a dedicated key-person system, ensuring each child's unique needs are met. With an Ofsted 'Good' rating (February 2023), we combine statutory early years frameworks with innovative pedagogical approaches like the Curiosity Approach, fostering environments where children develop through play and natural exploration.

Our commitment to continuous improvement is evidenced by our participation in Ealing Council's Highly Aspirational EYFS pilot programme, reflecting our leadership role in early years education. We maintain rigorous staff selection standards, ensuring all team members hold relevant qualifications and demonstrate genuine passion for childcare, while our transparent communication policies and digital learning journey tracking via EyLog app strengthen parent partnerships.

Services
Day Nursery Care
Our day nursery provides safe, homely care for children aged 12 months to 5 years. With low child-to-staff ratios, we create stimulating environments where qualified practitioners implement individualised learning journeys. Our Ofsted-registered facility combines statutory requirements with the Curiosity Approach pedagogy, using natural resources to foster developmental milestones through play-based learning.
Early Years Education
We deliver structured early years education aligned with the EYFS framework. Our Birth to 5 Matters curriculum focuses on seven key learning areas, with daily observations tracked via EyLog app. Children develop literacy and numeracy foundations through play, supported by Level 3+ qualified educators who create individualised progression plans in partnership with parents.
After School Program
Our after-school provision supports children up to age 8 during term time. The program includes homework assistance, creative activities, and outdoor play in our secure garden. Staff with childcare qualifications facilitate social development through structured group activities while maintaining flexible scheduling options for working families across Ealing.
Holiday Childcare
We offer continuous childcare during school holidays for children up to 8 years old. The program maintains regular routines while incorporating special seasonal activities. Our qualified team implements themed learning experiences aligned with EYFS standards, ensuring consistent developmental support throughout the year for working parents in West Ealing.
Parent Partnership
Our key-person system ensures dedicated communication channels between staff and families. We conduct pre-start home visits, provide daily digital updates via EyLog, and hold termly parent evenings. This collaborative approach extends to transition planning for school readiness, with learning profiles shared directly with reception teachers to ensure continuity in each child's educational journey.

Highly recommend, my son has been attending the setting for almost a year now and it was the best decision we made to put him at Children's Corner. The staff are kind, attentive and have great knowledge of children's development.
