TQ1 MOT Centre
Just to let everyone know that we are still open for business as we provide a service to the NHS patient transport vehicles and MOT's to the blue light ambulances. Because of this we intend to stay open until the government tells us otherwise. We are following the government guidelines and taking high precautions, making sure all steering wheels, keys, door handles etc are being wiped down.

If any of our customers are at a high risk we would more than happily offer a free local collection and drop off service where we can just please let us know if you would like this. If you could kindly pay by card where possible to prevent spread by cash that would be greatly appreciated.

If my vehicle has failed its MOT when the certificate is still live can I still take it away and drive it?. A. You may take your vehicle for its MOT test up to a month before your current certificate ends; the exact date will be on your MOT certificate. This had led to people questioning whether they can drive it after it has failed as they still have a valid certificate.

The changes affect cars, vans, motorcycles and other light passenger vehicles. The government is now preparing to leave the EU in the best possible way for the UK's national interest. The UK government could have faced ongoing substantial fines if it didn't introduce the changes. There's also a risk that vehicles without a compliant EU MOT would not be allowed into other EU countries.
