As an alternative to wood burning and multi-fuel stoves, there are now a wide range of free standing and inset gas fires that look so realistic it is hard to tell they are not genuine wood or multi-fuel stoves. They are very efficient, clean and easy to use with many now having remote control features.

If you wish to have the look of a wood stove but do not have the desire or budget for a wood burning or gas appliance then an electric look a like could be the answer for you. They all have built in fan heaters which can deliver 1 or 2 kw of heat and you can have the light effect without the heat running so there is something pleasant to look at when you don't need the heat.

We have a wide selection of high quality fireplace surrounds to offer you covering a huge range of different styles in marble, limestone and medistone. Most designs can be made bespoke to fit your fireplace if the standard sizes are not quite right for you. Wooden surrounds are also available but are more suited to gas or electric appliances rather than solid fuel.
