Our club fields six competitive teams weekly in the Liverpool Competition, fostering talent across senior, junior, and women's divisions. The historic clubhouse, situated in the heart of Sefton Park, serves as both a cricketing hub and versatile event venue overlooking our main ground. Senior Cricket Teams
Competitive cricket for adult players participating in the Liverpool Competition since 1876. Our senior teams play weekly fixtures against regional clubs, maintaining Liverpool's longest-running cricket league tradition. The club supports six teams across different divisions, providing regular match opportunities for experienced players.
Junior Cricket Teams
Structured cricket development for children aged 5-18 with teams from Under 9 to Under 18 levels. Weekly training sessions on Fridays for mixed teams and Wednesdays for girls, plus participation in regional competitions. The ECB All Stars program introduces basic cricket skills to children aged 5-8.
Women's Cricket Teams
Inclusive cricket opportunities for women through both softball and hardball formats. Teams compete in the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition and Lancashire Cricket Foundation tournaments. Regular training sessions and match opportunities since 2017 have grown the women's section significantly.
Function Room Hire

ECB All Stars Program

God was smiling on me the day I visited Sefton Cricket Club, undoubtedly the same deity who invented crosswords, bumble bees and Radio 4. With the afternoon sun baking the grass and a cricket match in full swing it couldn't have been a more idyllic a day to sit outside and pretend to know what was going on. It felt like a trip back into the Edwardian age, one of wood smoke and cider, when the drowsy summer tranquility would be interrupted by a bicycle courier stammering out news of the Hun.
