South Liverpool FC was established in 1935 and has grown into a cornerstone of local football. We compete in the North West Counties League Premier Division, having earned promotion in 2023/24 after a 30-year absence from the National League System. Our club nurtures talent from Under 7 to senior levels, with 25 teams including youth academies, veterans squads, and walking football. Based at the Jericho Lane Sports Hub since 2019, we combine modern facilities with a rich heritage dating back to our founding.Our community-focused approach ensures accessibility for players and fans, supported by partnerships with Liverpool Feds Women FC and local authorities. Senior Football Teams
Competing in the North West Counties League Premier Division, our senior teams have won 4 West Cheshire League titles since 2012. We returned to the National League System in 2021 after a 30-year absence. Our 2023/24 promotion season featured 28 unbeaten games and Team of the Month awards in September, October, and December.
Youth Academies
Our youth development covers Under 7 to Under 18 levels with dedicated coaching staff. The U18 team has won consecutive West Cheshire League Youth Division titles in 2016/17 and 2017/18. We also claimed the Liverpool County FA Youth Cup in 2014/15 and North West Youth Alliance Division One Cup in 2023/24.
Veterans Football
We field four veterans teams including Cheshire Veterans League champions and Zingari Combination participants. Our Over 40s Walking Football team competes in the Liverpool Over 50s League. The 2018/19 season saw our Over 40s win the Zingari Combination Division Two title.
Merchandise Sales
Official merchandise includes replica kits, anniversary shirts, and branded accessories. We offer bobble hats, scarves, mugs, and limited edition badges. Products are available at home games and through mail order with postal delivery options across the UK.
Community Engagement
We maintain strong community ties through youth development and historical preservation. Our website archives 90 years of club history with photo galleries and programme collections. We welcome former players and fans to contribute to our historical records and club museum.

First Team Manager
Manager since August 2001 with over 800 games in charge. Previously played for South Liverpool from 1992-1999. Holds club record for most managerial appearances.

Former goalkeeper with over 400 first-team appearances. Transitioned to assistant manager in 2019 after a 20-year playing career at South Liverpool.

Unfortunately South Liverpool are not a real football club.. the ground isn't a ground its a glorified 3g pitch with a fence round it.. characterless. There's just a whole lot of nothing going on there. No bar so of it's a few beers you're after like 99% of football fans then there's nothing here for you.. they have a cafe!! At £5 to get on its vastly overpriced. Go and visit one/any of the other none league clubs on Merseyside if you want a real authentic football experience..

Great staff and clean facilities. Only issue is the pitch has way too many black bits and no gates down the far end if the ball goes over
