From the M3, go to the end and join the M27 East bound towards Portsmouth. Alternatively from the A3 merge with the M27 at the end and head West bound towards Southampton. Leave the M27 at Junction 8. Leave the motorway at Junction 8 and head towards Hamble/Bursledon from the junction. This will take you onto a short dual carriage way which ends at a large roundabout.
