Shades was founded in 2009 initially hiring traditional canvas tents across the North of England. Over 10 years later and much about us has changed! We work throughout the UK and over the past few years the company has grown rapidly. We add to our marquee portfolio on a regular basis, and are always extending our range of furniture, bars and accessories (much of which is hand made by Paul and the team).

It has the striking roofline and window walls that make the sailcloth tent so popular, but a fabulous cosiness that tipis are known for.
