From the very first contact my family and I were treated with dignity and respect in what was, and is, an extremely difficult time. Chris kept us in the loop at every step and went above and beyond to ensure the funeral arrangements went smoothly, which lifted a huge weight off of our shoulders. Extremely professional but with that personal touch. We would highly recommend Chris and the whole team at James Ashton and Son, they were first class.

My mum passed away last month and I was at a loss as who to choose so I googled, found James Ashton and Son and have not regretted it. At such a distressing time, nothing was too much for Jamie. He was courteous and polite. He guided me through each step and approached everything with complete professionalism. Communication was either through phone or email and Jamie was very prompt in returning my calls. I knew I wanted a humanist service for my mum and Jamie recommended a lovely lady called Fiona.
