Lovely family run hotel. Room and bathroom VERY clean and comfortable. Staff wonderfully welcoming and personable. Very short cab ride from Gatwick.

I have stayed at The Gainsborough Lodge a number of times. The management are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds, they are light and airy and the facilities are good. I will definitely stay there again.

Great little hotel for a one night stop over good location for the airport and Tulley's farm if you're visiting.Staff we're friendly and rooms really clean.would use again

Had to cancel my booking because they won't let me check in with a passport or driving licence! I work away Monday to Friday every week and have never known this situation, and I'm a born British citizen! Odd requirement

Serves it's purpose...close to the airport. Not much more to say about the place.
Staff..lady who checked us in friendly and helpful. Guy who drives the airport minibus not helpful at all, when I arrived back from holiday to a flat car battery he wasn't remotely interested in helping.

Loved their service, U know the feeling of being welcomed by the staff even if the place is not exactly 5star? That is what Gainsborough Lodge gave me and despite the building or rooms not being first class, the staff was up and doing in ensuring my stay news absolutely homely.

Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and quiet if a little basic. The breakfast was fantastic and the chef delightful. Free parking also a bonus.
