Swindon Music

Swindon Music is a not-for-profit association of over 40 self-employed specialist music teachers dedicated to nurturing musical potential across all age groups. Established to provide accessible, high-quality music education, we deliver instrumental and vocal tuition in more than 80 local schools and colleges while offering flexible out-of-school lessons for individuals aged 4 to 80. Our teachers undergo regular observations and enhanced DBS checks, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment. We specialise in diverse genres, from classical to contemporary, and provide tailored support for music theory exams, ensemble direction, and curriculum delivery. With options for face-to-face and remote learning, we prioritise individual progress through annual pupil reports and continuous feedback. Our commitment to excellence is reinforced by partnerships with organisations like Swindon Music Trust, enabling financial assistance for eligible participants.

From beginner to advanced levels, we foster creativity and technical skill development through experienced educators who bring both pedagogical expertise and industry experience to every lesson. Our ensemble specialists cater to string groups, wind bands, choirs, and orchestras, while our accompanists support exam candidates and performers at all stages. By integrating safeguarding protocols and professional insurance through the ISM or MU, we maintain the highest standards of practice.
