Our journey began with Amanda's background in professional hair and makeup artistry, graduating from the London College of Fashion and working on high-end sets featured in Vogue and Tatler. Hire Your Day were an absolute joy to work with. Firstly, they were super kind and understanding of our multiple delays as a result of Covid. And, finally when we were given the go ahead we met Laura (only 2… weeks away from our wedding) and she just had the most amazing vision for our venue, I was so excited about it! And, while I knew it would look fabulous, I cannot describe how happy I was with the finished result. They brought the venue to life with lots of greenery, trees, lights...just amazing! Not only did they do an amazing job, they are just lovely. Kind, patient and creative!

From the hanging of different coloured paper lanterns to the high ceilings and putting up a fairy light wall, to providing a cake barrel and easels, it was all spot on and professionally done. We first met Amanda at a wedding fayre in 2018, we knew from all of her beautiful displays that we wanted to hire the items rather than purchase myself. Amanda was always happy for us to meet her to discuss our… thoughts and ideas, given her experience she was able to give us some food for thought and more often than not we would love her ideas more! Covid changed our plans and so we had to go back to the drawing board about our popcorn table, my heart melted when I saw the final look of the idea we had quickly scrapped together two weeks before the big day.
