Woodfield Brady Architects
Woodfield Brady Architects are an RIBA award-winning practice. Working from our studio in Newbury, we serve Berkshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. Our work can be broadly arranged over three categories: bespoke family homes (new-builds, extensions and remodelling), residential developments (2 to 200 dwellings), and rural diversification involving the change of use of heritage assets often within sensitive settings.

We have also undertaken projects for offices, livery stables, museums, churches and community buildings. Through our conversion expertise, we have worked on a vast range of building types from small granaries to complex Victorian asylums. We thrive on an exciting mix of diverse projects with a passion for great architecture.

Founded in 2008, we have acted for numerous homeowners, rural landowners and developers to unlock the full potential of their sites and homes. We realise their aspirations, discover hidden opportunities and maximise the value of their property investments. We solve the challenges of many building types - new and old - and have a particular passion and expertise in the creative reuse, retrofit and conversion of historic buildings.

Increasingly, our farmers and land owners are seeking ways in which to broaden the value of their rural assets.

Our strength and experience over many years of practice has been in unlocking the delivery of such plans, by sensitive conversion of obsolete building stock under change of use to commercial offices, equestrian centres, holiday lets and residential developments, together with a series of new private dwellings under recent permitted development - Part Q - legislation.
