After reading the reviews, my family and I were sceptical about heading down for something to eat. To anyone considering dining at Kildonan Hotel, I'd advise you to disregard whatever you read on here and go to experience it for yourself. The building is not run down it's lovely, the staff were so unbelievably friendly, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely. We will 100% be dining there again.

The hotel has a nice view. That's the only merit of it. Other than that, what u can expect is the worst service u can get in a four star hotel. Seriously advise you avoid staying here. It's really dreadful. We stayed in here for two nights. It offered breakfast in the morning, however, the service was extremely slow. Seems like only two ppl were serving. We ordered full breakfast which has sausage, egg, hash brown, potato scone, bacon, n beans. It took them more than 20 mins to deliver. We didn't want to rush them at first but ppl who came after us were finished n leaving we
