Accomodations are very good and the staff are friendly. Dinner was good and, again, the staff were great. At breakfast, there was just one server who was struggling on his own. I'm not sure why there's a buffet during a pandemic, though I assume they attempted to seat all guests close together to make the service easier. It felt unsafe. Other than breakfast (which also featured powdered eggs for scrambled eggs), the experience was very good.

My son and I recently spent 2 nights at the Piersland on a golf trip to Scotland. It was a delightful experience. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is fabulous. Our accommodations were perfect and the staff was great. I highly recommend staying here if youre ever in Troon. I will definitely be going back.

Lovely old style hotel. Comfortable bed, clean rooms. A bit cool in the bedroom initially. Took about one day to heat up. Rest of the time was good.

Lovely house hotel with original features - outstanding decor. beautiful cozy room, lovely dinner and Scottish breakfast - tatty scone but no slice sausage (only fault). Cozy bar. Nice garden. Good staff. Easy parking. Highly recommended.
