Firstly be aware that most of the google reviews are from people that work at these resorts !!! I have been a seasons member for 20 years and my experience has been shocking, as owners the accommodation they assign you is not fit for purpose and I have yet to stay in a lodge which does not resemble a 70's time warp with pink bathrooms and horrible cork tiles with boarded walls. Staff are unhelpful because they here this all the time so it falls on deaf ears.( not there fault ). I am reluctant to invest again because if our previous experience is anything to go by then we are on a hiding to nothing

This place is a throwback to medieval times but is beautiful. The grounds are amazing and it is just fun. Not your typical hotel at all. The only thing you need to not bring is towels and bed linens. Enjoy it it truly is a once in a lifetime stay.
