Lovely day out to see new exhibitions for Grinling Gibbons' and John Nash's work. There is plenty to see and do normally though, plus beautiful grounds to walk in and admire the views.

Raining in Warwickshire, so popped into Compton Verney. Not disappointed , fascinating history, resulting in a a fine restored period building with sophisticated new extension. An intriguing mix of art collections to be enjoyed and then a very pleasant coffee and snack in the relaxing cafe area. Must go back when better weather to walk round and appreciate the landscaped grounds.
