Henley In Arden Heritage Centre stands as a custodian of local history, preserving the rich heritage of this historic market town from the Norman Conquest to the present day. Established through the vision of Joseph Alexander Hardy and inaugurated by his daughter Robin Hardy Freed in November 1996, our facility occupies a prominent position in the High Street. We offer curated exhibitions that explore centuries of social, cultural, and architectural evolution, complemented by educational programs for schools and community groups. Our dedicated team ensures accessibility for all visitors, with ground-floor facilities and guided tours available. The Centre actively participates in national initiatives like Heritage Open Days, extending its outreach through extended hours and special events.

Our gift shop provides visitors with locally sourced memorabilia, while our archival resources support historical research. Governed by The Joseph Hardy Charitable Trust (Registered Charity No. 1180324), we maintain rigorous standards of preservation and public engagement.
