About Us
Report
Our practice is situated in the heart of Epping, Essex. We specialise in orthodontics and are a well-established practice, we first opened our doors in 1992. We aim to provide a professional yet relaxed atmosphere for all of our patients and their families. Our primary aim is to achieve the most attractive smile which suits your face.
Treatments
Report
The ideal time to be referred by your family dentist is when all of the deciduous teeth have been lost and their permanent replacements have come through, which is commonly between 11 and 14 years of age. If your dentist is concerned about any specific problem before this stage, you will be advised accordingly.
Nhs
Report
Our practice has a contract with NHS England - East of England Primary Care and where possible we offer a full range of NHS orthodontic treatments for patients up to age 18, who are eligible under the criteria. We are proud to say that we don't have a long waiting list to start NHS treatment and it is therefore not necessary to be referred early to access the system.
Invisalign
Report
At The Specialist Orthodontic Clinic, we can use Invisalign to treat a variety of mild orthodontic problems including teeth which are crooked, crowded or have gaps. Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, removable aligners, which are periodically changed. Because it is clear, removable and comfortable, it won't interfere with your life.
Lingual Braces
Report
Lingual orthodontics refers to the correction of crooked teeth by means of fixed braces bonded to the inner side of the teeth. So correct tooth positioning can be achieved without the braces being seen. There is no age limit for lingual braces, provided the teeth are still relatively firmly fixed in the bone.
