How should I store my meat after purchase?
Refrigerate below 5°C and consume before the use-by date. For long-term storage, freeze on day of purchase. Our vacuum-packed products maintain quality for up to 6 months frozen.
What delivery options are available?
We offer nationwide next-day delivery for orders placed before 12:00PM Monday-Friday. Saturday deliveries require instructions for safe delivery. Orders placed after 12:00PM Friday are processed Monday.
How do you ensure meat freshness?
We use temperature-controlled packaging guaranteed for 48 hours. Our short supply chain maintains the cold chain from butchery to customer, with dispatch processes completed within 24 hours of order placement.
Are gift options available?
Yes, our biltong and boerewors make popular gifts. Available in various sizes from 100g snacks to 5kg family portions, all packaged in signature branded materials with optional gift messages.

Actually not giving a single star... Bought over 40 worth of Chuck and was given only 2 pieces of Chuck and different cuts... Not Chuck... love Chuck... when I got home I saw the difference... very deceptive... could've easily said "No We Out Of Chuck"... but No, money was more important than customer satisfaction... won't be going there ever again... to anyone else, dont be fooled by their nice customer interaction... know your meats.. and please check your bag before you leave the butchery, they are giving Palmers Butchers a Bad Name... held them in high regard but after my last visit.....

Great Staff... Very friendly... Good quality Meats... Spent over 50 and got free Pork Sausages, Usually get Free Chilli Bites... drive there every other month from Newport just to buy meat ...Nice Morning Drive... Closest Butchers that sell Boerewors... Wish there was a Palmers in South Wales...

Excellent service from Palmers Butchers! Sell excellent traditional boerewors! Also sell other South African items like Ricoffy (Coffee), Maize porridge, etc! I bought 9 packs of boerewors for 30, at 3 packs for 10!

This butcher is an example of superb customer service and high quality products. The meat is high quality and fresh (can request fresh meat from back if buying in bulk). I always make big orders usually over 200 as I commute from Bristol as I trust the quality of the meat from Palmers. The staff(Diego to name a few) are so friendly and professional and I always get a discount since I spend large amounts in one go which I really appreciate. 5 STAR!!
