Established in 1980 by David and Joan Bennet, our family-run business has evolved through generations of dedicated stewardship. Nestled within 14 acres of mature woodland gardens overlooking Loch Lochy, our three architecturally designed lodges provide a tranquil retreat for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts. Each lodge combines modern comfort with rustic charm, featuring high ceilings, expansive windows, and private parking. David Bennet
Founder
Arrived in 1978 with grand plans for self-catering lodges. Built the three distinctive chalets by hand, establishing the business in 1980. Developed the gardens with rare plant species over two decades.
Joan Bennet
Co-Founder
Married David Bennet during development. Collaborated on lodge construction and garden creation. Helped establish the business's reputation for hospitality and horticultural excellence before retiring in 2001.
Steve Dennis
Former Owner
Took over in 2001 after being regular guest since 1985. Maintained gardens and community connections during 12-year tenure. Retired in 2013 passing operations to the King family.
Marilyn Dennis
Former Owner
Partnered with Steve Dennis in managing lodges. Continued garden development and community engagement. Their dog Henry became a local celebrity during their ownership period.
Deneil King
Current Manager
Brings luxury hotel industry experience to current operations. Ensures guest stays meet high standards. Part of the King family that took over in 2013, continuing the property's hospitality legacy.

We provide three identical luxury self-catering lodges, each sleeping up to six guests. All feature modern amenities, private parking, and uninterrupted loch views.

Within easy reach by car: 12+ castles, Fort William, Glen Coe, and the Jacobite Steam Train. Loch Lochy's Dark Mile fishing stretch is nearby.

Simply amazing place to stay and relax .The lodge was beautiful , clean and everything you need .You have access to the grounds and loch .It is secure with electric gates .Daniel is just lovely . Definitely going to book again next year

Astonishing place. The grounds, bbq hut, benches and hammock. Views of mountains and the Loch right from the living area. The lodge itself is exquisite, such amazing details and comfort. Its nice to watch the 20+ birds visiting the bird feeder by the decking. Very quiet and special place, I am not surprised they can be booked so far in advance. Perfect for star gazing on a clear night. I cant think of any way to improve this place.
