You get 3 to 4 times the heat out of the same amount of fuel in a Stove as you do in an Open Fire. Couple that with the cost of Oil, Gas and Electricity and you start to understand the attraction of a Stove. Plus they work in a power cut. Wood Burning Stoves are the product for being environmentally friendly.

Considering the winters we have been enduring over the last couple of years it is just as well there has been a sea change in the Heat and Efficiency of Gas Fires. We now have open living flame convector gas fires that are 74% efficient. That is almost as efficient as a glass-fronted fire. Winters are getting colder, Gas Bills are getting bigger, so update to these incredible new fires to get the most heat for your hard earned money.

Our homes are getting insulated to far higher standards than we have previously experienced. In some homes this means that a gas Fire or Multi-Fuel Stove are just not needed or used. There are now LED Fires. The heater is the same but the effect is by LEDs which only use about 20% of the electricity of a bulb.

I came to you because you are local with a good showroom where I could see things. I think it was Matt that helped me. No pressure, but lots of help and patience. I chose a Disley Mantel in Solid Oak with Bianca White marble and the Nu-Flame Slimline Remote Gas fire. The fitting again excellent. Jamie was lovely and very efficient.
