Here at Playdays each individual child is cared for and taught in a traditional and homely manner, in an environment that is both stimulating and fun. Playdays offers excellent quality care for children aged three months to five years from a variety of Nursery Nurses, Nursery Assistants and Nursery teachers.
For the older children we introduce many subjects such as practical life, sensorial, language, maths, cultural subjects and general knowledge. More activities include French, swimming, computers, music and movement, art, craft, sand and water play, and not forgetting outdoor activities also our aim is to provide each child with the confidence to excel!

Baby Rooms

Your child will be cared for by qualified NVQ Level 2 or 3 or NNEB Nursery Nurses. It is at this age that your child requires that extra special care and attention, so we at Playdays have created the perfect 'home from home' environment where your child can feel happy and relaxed in warm and secure surroundings.
Toddler Rooms

At Playdays our aim is to help each child to reach the highest degree of independence and confidence. The Toddler Rooms take children from approximately one and a half years old. It is at this stage that we aim to give the children a gentle but enjoyable experience whereby we encourage creativity through painting, cooking and dressing up activities, as well as learning new vocabulary and language development in the home corner and story areas.
Pre-school

At this age Playdays introduces your child to more 'formal lessons' where the children work for short periods doing more involved and demanding exercises which help develop concentration. Each child progresses at their own pace, gradually learning about letters and numbers. The children will learn to direct and develop their mutual curiosity through creative work and play, with a strong emphases on letter and number recognition.
Before / After School

At Playdays our aim is to help each child to reach the highest degree of independence and confidence, as well as to discover their own strengths academically and creatively, and to pave the way for them to go on and be happy and inquisitive at school. Child Playing Playdays Nursery also incorporates a 'Before / After School Programme' and 'Holiday Club' for when your child moves on to school.

At Playdays our aim is to help each child to reach the highest degree of independence and confidence, as well as to discover their own strengths academically and creatively, and to pave the way for them to go on and be happy and inquisitive at school.
The 'Holiday Club' is about creating lively, group orientated games and activities and varied outings providing all of the same and more activities to those set out above covering the entire day of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.This can include topic work and outings to places of interest such as museums and parks as well as swimming!
