What documentation do I need to hire a car?
You require a UK driving licence check code, photo-card, bank card, and second ID. The check code must be obtained up to 3 weeks before rental.

Yes, we offer Postie size vans for weekend use. Larger transit vans are currently unavailable.
Do you provide 24/7 customer support?
We operate during normal hours but offer out-of-hours service by arrangement with additional fees.

How far in advance should I book?

Avoid or it could cost you a fortune. Take a bus, taxi or just walk instead! I rented a car from Aviemore Car & Van for a weekend out in the Cairngorms on a Saturday morning. I was told that no one would be able to sign the car back in for the whole of the next day when I was due to return it. I dropped the car off parked safely outside their office midday on Sunday to catch my train. I received an email from AC&VH on the Monday notifying me that the car had been damaged whilst it was parked outside their offices. I then received a bill for damages in excess of 500 including 140 in admin

Our car broke down outside Aviemore and we came across this company. Dealt with Tracey , service was FANTASTIC, prices were good too but more importantly they got us back on the road quickly and without a fuss. Cannot recommend then enough. Thank You
