
Northpoint Wellbeing plays a key role in supporting mental health and wellbeing in Yorkshire. We're now one of the largest charitable providers of therapeutic services in the region, working with adults, children and young people. Our mission is to improve access to a range of talking therapies in a timely manner for the whole population.
Our vision is a society where people experiencing mental health problems, distress, or disturbance can receive the support they need at the time they need it. As a charity, our mission at Northpoint Wellbeing is to increase access to talking therapies and emotional support services for children, young people and adults, and to provide these services in a timely manner to most effectively promote emotional wellbeing and relieve mental distress.

Northpoint is a delivery partner in Calderdale Open Minds (CAMHS), a partnership of organisations who are commissioned to deliver signposting, advice, and mental health interventions for children and young people aged 5 to 18 and their families.
Northpoint works alongside other organisations, including South West Yorkship Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Kooth, children's social care, schools, school nurses, and other community-based organisations.Open Minds provides signposting, advice, and treatment services for children and young people in Calderdale experiencing emotional and mental health problems.

Children’s Centre Counselling Service

The Children's Centre Counselling Service provides free counselling for parents and carers of young children - or those expecting a child - in the Leeds area. We support people with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and how best to care for their children and themselves.
Employee Counselling Service

The Employee Counselling Service is an employer-funded, confidential counselling service. It aims to help employees deal effectively with difficulties that adversely affect their work performance, health, or general wellbeing. This ensures that staff have somewhere to turn when life pressures start to mount.
Leeds Healthy Minds
Report
The Healthy Minds service provided by Northpoint Wellbeing offers a brief mental health intervention (including developing coping skills and healthy living habits) and signposting to onward support where necessary. It is for patients experiencing low-level mental health issues in selected Leeds GP Practices (see below).
