Services
Hearing Tests
Our comprehensive hearing evaluations use pure tone audiometry to diagnose hearing loss types and severity. Qualified audiologists conduct detailed assessments in soundproof clinics or home environments, providing clear explanations of results and tailored recommendations. The 60-90 minute appointments include ear examinations and trial options for appropriate hearing solutions.
Hearing Aids
As an independent provider, we offer complete access to all major hearing aid brands and models. Our services include fitting invisible-in-canal devices, rechargeable systems, and CROS/BICROS solutions for single-sided deafness. Expert programming and remote care adjustments ensure optimal performance across various listening environments.
Earwax Removal
Certified audiologists perform safe microwax suction procedures in clinical settings or through home visits. Pre-treatment with olive oil softens wax for easier removal, while irrigation remains available for specific cases. The 20-minute sessions address impacted earwax causing hearing impairment or discomfort, with immediate post-procedure care advice provided.
Remote Care
Modern hearing aids enable remote programming through secure digital connections. This service allows real-time adjustments to device settings without requiring clinic visits, ensuring continuous optimisation of auditory performance. Patients receive immediate technical support and personalised configuration changes from qualified audiologists.
Home Visits
Our audiologists provide full diagnostic and fitting services at patients' residences across the South East. This includes comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid trials, and earwax removal procedures conducted in familiar environments. The service accommodates mobility challenges while maintaining clinical standards of care.

Having gone through 2 other very biased audiologists, trying to sell us a certain hearing aid that wasn't suitable, we were very pleased to have come across Richmond Hearing. They are extremely professional, patient and kind. I would wholly recommend them to anyone who needed help regarding their hearing loss. A special thank you to Paul and Marie for their help.

Paul is an excellent audiologist and has looked after me with great care for some time. However, I shall not be using this shop again after my latest very unpleasant and upsetting experience; I am so sad to lose him. However I spoke to two women, one who answers the 0800 appointment number and the manager of the shop. Both, but the manager in particular, are so rude, condescending and patronising that I cancelled my approaching appointment and ended the conversation. It is a great pity that Paul has to lose customers( I am not the only one, as a friend of mine has left for the same reason and I

If you can get over what a rude, condescending and supercilious woman runs the reception, I am sure the service may be very good. We walked out before actually having gone in to our appointment when we saw her being patronising and talking over an elderly man with severe hearing issues.

We have been trying to get a repair done to a hearing aid. Unfortunately not purchased through them, so we were not treated as a priority and actually told this by the audiologist! Appalling statement to make to a customer, regardless of whether the purchaser was made there! If you offer to take on the work you commit as a provider. After several visits and phone calls managed to get the earpiece replaced but the synchronisation with the working earpiece could not effectively be set. Complete incompetence. Went to Specsavers audiologists and got fantastic service. Will definitely NOT recommend
