We believe that timeless design is always modern and that true beauty gets better with age. Each pair of shoes has been meticulously crafted by our skilled shoemakers in our small workshop in Totnes in the South West of England. All our shoes can be resoled and repaired which significantly extends the life of your footwear.

Not only is it great knowing where your shoes are made, it's also pretty cool to see who makes them and who is here to help from start to finish!. She's been with us for 4 years now and continues to make our customers and employees smile. She spends most of her day trotting around saying hello to everyone or lying flat out in the walkway hoping to get some snacks or a belly rub.

If you choose to come and visit us we also specialise in beautiful fair trade fashion. We stock natural fibre clothing from well known ethical brands People Tree, UCM, SKFK, Bibico and Eribe. We also stock a very wide range of colourful tights from European companies Cecilia De Rafael, Swole Panda and Falke.

All our styles follow the natural shape of the foot allowing your feet to spread out providing great comfort and stability. We offer a range of soles including four zero-drop options which can be put onto any of our styles, whether you want a winter boot or summer sandal. Zero-rise means the sole is completely flat.

Conker was established in 1977 and since then we have been making leather shoes in our Devon workshop. We are now situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Totnes. We only have one workshop which located behind our highstreet shop.
We have a large range of styles, colours and sizes ready to buy off the shelf but we mainly make shoes to order; choose your colour(s), sole type, stitching colour and laces/buckles, bespoke shoes made especially for you!Our shoes are made of high-quality materials using traditional techniques that have been passed on throughout the many years we have been making shoes.
