Services
Carpal Tunnel Surgery
Carpal tunnel release surgery alleviates pressure on the median nerve in the wrist, treating symptoms like numbness and tingling. This day-case procedure uses local anaesthetic, with recovery taking 6-8 weeks. Ideal for persistent symptoms unresponsive to conservative treatments, it offers long-term relief for most patients.
No-Scalpel Vasectomy
A minimally invasive male sterilisation procedure performed under local anaesthetic. This technique uses a single puncture site, eliminating stitches and reducing recovery time. Patients typically return to light duties within days, with permanent contraception achieved after 16 weeks and semen analysis confirmation.
Trigger Finger Release
This surgical intervention addresses finger locking caused by tendon inflammation. A small incision releases the constricted tendon sheath, restoring mobility. Performed under local anaesthetic, most patients experience immediate symptom relief with full recovery within 6 weeks through guided hand exercises.
Joint Injections
Targeted corticosteroid injections reduce inflammation in arthritic joints, providing pain relief for conditions like osteoarthritis and bursitis. Administered by specialists, these injections offer temporary symptom management while natural healing occurs, with effects lasting from weeks to months depending on individual cases.
Dupuytrens Contracture
Surgical correction of Dupuytrens disease straightens bent fingers caused by thickened palm tissue. While not curative, the procedure improves hand function with most patients requiring only one operation during their lifetime. Recovery involves active finger mobilisation to optimise outcomes.

Questions
What surgical options are available for carpal tunnel syndrome?
We offer day-case carpal tunnel release surgery under local anaesthetic. This procedure cuts the compressing ligament to relieve nerve pressure, with most patients achieving full recovery within 6-8 weeks.
Can I access private surgery without NHS referral?
Yes, private patients can self-refer. Contact us directly for consultation arrangements. For NHS procedures, your GP must initiate referral through the Choose and Book system.
What post-operative care is required after vasectomy?
Avoid heavy work for 48 hours. Use contraception until 16-week semen analysis confirms sterility. Mild discomfort typically resolves within days, with full recovery in one week.
Do joint injections cure arthritis?
No, cortisone injections manage symptoms by reducing inflammation. They provide temporary relief while natural healing occurs, but do not reverse arthritic changes. Repeat injections may be required for ongoing management.
What complications might occur after hand surgery?
Potential risks include infection (1:100), nerve damage (1:1000), and complex regional pain syndrome (1:3000). Most complications are minor and resolve with conservative treatment, though severe cases may require additional interventions.

Staff really don't seem to care. Always misdiagnosed or pushed out the door. First incident Pillai accused my parents of abusing me when it was just shortness of breath from anxiety. Next we had to beg for allergy tests which turned out to be severe Ibuprofen allergy and peanut allergy, then my dad had to suffer with bowel cancer for months when they misdiagnosed it at constipation. Now my grandads leukemia isn't noticed until it's too late despite numerous blood tests. How do you not find blood cancer in blood?! Should not be practicing! they're a danger to life and don't care about people health
