English Notaries are lawyers qualified in our own right. We are most often asked to act for people, or businesses, requiring "notarisation" (or certification) of documentation to do with their property, family matters, legal proceedings, or work abroad. A notarised document is accepted in the country in which it is intended to be used, as if it had been signed or produced there.

Witnessing execution of foreign Powers of Attorney, Wills, or other documents and declarations, statements and affidavits for use abroad. Confirmation of identity and signatures on documents, such as letters of consent to travel.
